About C. Ray Events Couture division
From a year that has been nothing in the way of normal C. Ray and Associates has created a new Couture Event Division to address the need for luxury event management and production. Customized, personalized service and attention to detail has always been the hallmark of C. Ray & Associates and with the new Couture Division Cindy Ray has expanded her company to offer her clients a level of unparalleled service that is second to none.
Collaborating with Cindy Ray's team in her new endeavor are Sigrid Helgason, formally Director of Catering Sales at Rosewood Crescent Court Hotel and Terry Shields CPCE, CSEP, formally Director of Catering and Events at Rosewood Mansion on Turtle Creek and Michael Owen a Dallas Native known for his special events.
With years of combined experience, the team of C. Ray & Associates Couture Division have created, designed and executed many of the major events in Dallas for the past three decades.

Cindy’s unique sense of style combined with her uncanny ability to ‘read’ her clients’ needs led her to build her own event planning business,
InspiRAYtions, in 1986. Cindy found herself working constantly, planning a wide array of personal
and corporate events. Her passion to create the most memorable events on any budget quickly earne

and corporate events. Her passion to create the most memorable events on any budget quickly earned her the respect of the industry and a bevy of clients
in need of her expertise.
Determined to again be the master of her own fate, Cindy started yet another event planning business,
C. Ray & Associates, this time focused on the magnitude of the project rather than multitude.
Her lifestyles of the rich and famous parties
became the hottest tickets in town.
She continues to enjoy tremendous success

Terry Shields comes to C. Ray & Associates with over thirty-four years of experience in the event industry in Dallas. While his previous appointment was as the Director of Catering and Events for Rosewood Mansion on Turtle for fifteen years, Terry has also served as the General Manager of Food and Beverage Services for both the Belo Ma
Terry Shields comes to C. Ray & Associates with over thirty-four years of experience in the event industry in Dallas. While his previous appointment was as the Director of Catering and Events for Rosewood Mansion on Turtle for fifteen years, Terry has also served as the General Manager of Food and Beverage Services for both the Belo Mansion and for the Dallas World Trade Center.
Terry was also part of the team that created and operated Food Glorious Food for Culinaire International and was the Vice President of Event Productions for Destination Dynamics before starting his own event production company, Terry Shields Event Design, in 2003.
From a business perspective, the thousands of events have included events for Bill and Melinda Gates, Ross Perot Senior and Junior and their wives, the Wiley’s the Winspear’s, Howard & Sara Hallam, Don & Barbara Daske, Hal & Diane Brierley, Jerry & Gene Jones and so many more! Companies like Toyota, Ben E. Keith, Duke Realty, Stanford University, Sierra Tucson, Southwest Airlines, JP Morgan
and many, many more!

Susan G Komen and other large non-profit organizations. Michael was the top sales person at

social and corporate events. He also worked with Cessna Aircraft’s annual sales meeting, customer appreciation events and sales incentive programs..
